The Hideaway

A delightful semi-detached one-bedroom property in the village of Chirnside in the Scottish Borders. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. Edinburgh and Newcastle are an hour away by car or train, the coast is a 15 minute drive, and there are several quaint market towns in the area to visit. The property is only a few minutes walk from the village supermarket and other local amenities. The building and grounds form part of a renovated old Bank and include other holiday flats.

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The Bothy

Situated in a quiet courtyard in the borders town of Coldstream. Ideal for walkers, golfers, fishing or just visiting the historic Scottish borders. Only 4 miles from Flodden battlefield, Kelso 10 miles Berwick 14 miles, Edinburgh less than an hour away. 2 Local pubs to chose from all within 5 minutes walk. The name Bothy means a refuge for travelers. The price includes airbnb's charges which I can do nothing about, we charge £70 per night the rest is airbnb commission.
