Between Edale Valley and Hope Valley, at Hopevale Cottages we're surrounded by peaceful pasture and woodland, adjacent to National Trust land with direct access to many local footpaths including "The Great Ridge Walk". Derwent Valley offers a beautiful day out cycling, cycle hire available locally. Ultrafast broadband means you can work as well as walk (85 Mp)

In a secluded location away from the crowds, Shireoaks Cottage is a traditional 18th Century farm cottage situated on a working hill farm with beautiful moorland views. Well equipped kitchen with Aga, comfortable sitting room and dining room, 2 king sized bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin, 3 ensuites and 1 family bathroom. Outside is a terrace, garden and fire pit. The local town of Chapel -en-le-Frith and the surrounding villages of Hayfield and Chinley plus supermarkets are a short drive.

Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, 2 with Superking or Twin, the 3rd is a double. 3 large bathrooms, Kitchen / Diner and separate cosy lounge with woodburner. Underfloor heating. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. A folder in the cottage has a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door.
