A beautiful self-catering cottage in a Victorian Shooting Lodge at start of the Pennine Way, on a private working farm in the High Peak. Surrounded by open access national park moorland and meadows. Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

Light, spacious 1 bedroom loft apartment. Stone built with stunning views of the surrounding hills. Double bedroom with TV and en-suite. Main living area has a large L shaped sofa which converts into a King sized bed. Dining table seating 4 comfortably, 42” smart TV; fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, Belfast sink and dish-washer. Porch with coat and boot racks, washing machine, and freezer. Bathroom number 2 is off the porch and includes a shower over the bath.

The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
