Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Whether you are just passing through or booking for a fishing tournament, coming to town to do some hunting, we have you covered! We have a huge turnaround and parking for your boats. We are less than 2 miles from Lakepointe Marina and other drop ins to the lake. We are minutes from Spring Hill and surrounding areas for all of you that are coming to hunt. 3 miles from the historic town of Eufaula with restaurants and amenities. We are pet friendly! But we do not clean up after your pets.

Our home has 3 bedrooms but sleeps up to 10 comfortably. Enjoy the screened in porch or lake front deck after spending your day on the dock. Take it easy at this tranquil Walter F George lake getaway. A large hut for fish and wild game cleaning makes for a unique backyard treasure. Plenty of room to back boat and trailer right up and unload your catch. Relax around the fire pit, grill or just chill. Located in a community that allows golf cart/4 wheelers, so your are welcome to bring yours. A mile to Hardridge Creek State Park, and close driving distance to Thomas Mill Creek and White Oak.

Come make yourself at home, located just a few blocks from downtown restaurants and shops and minutes away from public boat landings. A perfect location for the Eufaula Pilgrimage and within walking distance to everything. This home has everything you need.
