Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Private parking and large garden space overlooking field. This area boasts both local and mountainous walks. Dogs welcome, but must be kept on leads when near sheep.

Chicken house dome

Cromen Tŷ Cyw Iâr (Chicken house dome). A slated dome is a unique building, this one looks down the Honddu and Usk valleys and you can see for 25 miles from the star window looking South East. I have reused materials as much as possible in its construction. The original henhouse was rebuilt to create the private bathroom alongside and contains a hot shower, w.c. and basin. I have created a special place for visitors to stay with their own private piece of rural Wales to enjoy.
