Beachside Holiday House, Kerry Ring

This beautiful house is a real gem. A minute's walk from blue flag, sandy Kells Beach, it gives you rural charm but with all mod cons. With no weed-killer used on the property, there is plenty of insect and bird life. In the autumn there are beautiful organic apples in the orchard. We suggest you slow down. Relax. Head to the beach with your towel, or turn right out of the gate and walk, with beautiful views of Kells and Dingle Bay. For golfers, Dooks and Waterville are both half an hour away.

Driftwood is located on the Wild Atlantic Way and on the Kerry Walkway. Killarney is 33kms and Dingle is 80 kms. We are 7 kms to the fabulous Dooks Golf Course. Policy: Only the number of persons booked as stated on the booking form are allowed to stay. There is also no smoking or pets allowed.

The house is a traditional farmhouse with a large garden and located in the middle of the small island on a quiet road. A road leads to the shore on Valentia Island (1km) and the breathtaking cliff area on the north-facing side is about 2km away - a paradise for walkers! The small fishing village of Portmagee on the mainland and Valentia's main village Knights Town are about 4 minutes by car. The monastic skellig island (filming site of star wars)is a short boat trip from portmagee

This house is situated on a site of its own with a big back garden which is perfect for relaxing in or playing a game of soccer. The garden is facing the mountains with a southern aspect so is also a perfect place to simply relax, unwind and soak up the peaceful scenic surroundings .

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
