Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Renovated Walzer house 15 mins by car from Alagna

Our chalet is a renovated "Walzer" style barn. We are a Belgian family with 3 children and a dog and love this remote quiet place in the Valsesia valley. We enjoy hiking in the mountains or just walking in the valley or swimming in the river that passes by on the back of our house. We love skiing in the nearby "Monte Rosa" or "Alpe di Mera" Ski domains (15 or 10 minutes respectively by car) and enjoy cooking with local produce savoring local wines (Gattinara, Ghemme, Barbaresco, Barolo, ...)

On the hills, among woods, meadows, cultivated fields and fruit trees, inside the Ticino Park, stands the Cascina Ronco dei Lari, which origins date back to 1700, renovated in 2022. 180° on the lake

Sono felice di ospitarvi nel mio appartamento. È situato al terzo e quarto piano di una palazzina di recente costruzione. Si trova in una zona tranquillissima immersa nel verde e con una vista di 180º sull'incantevole lago d'Orta. Io sono Matteo e gestisco questa locazione turistica. Abito a 10 minuti di distanza e sono felice di consigliarvi mete e destinazioni dei nostri meravigliosi luoghi. E' necessario essere automuniti.
