With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

The Apartment @ Timber & Sage

The Apartment @ Timber & Sage is located in the picturesque town of Harrietville. This spacious apartment has stunning views that can be enjoyed while having your morning coffee from the lounge area or a glass of wine on the deck. Located above the Timber & Sage restaurant/bar, it is also linked to the small Café HV Kitchen down the road. Stroll through town and stop for a coffee and a treat! Or fuel up before a hike, swim or cycle. In the winter months enjoy a cosy space to stay before a Ski.

Bright Lavender Farm. Mud Brick Miners Cottage 1

This unique and tranquil experience, Your very own mud brick miners cottage on a lavender farm that has fantastic views. 5km to Bright. Also near by is the Rail trail, Golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. With an adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda.Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream also on the property. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

Avalon House: The Mine Managers

The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. With a private pet friendly courtyard, it is in the centre of town walking distance to Cafes, Parks, Rivers, Pubs and all Harrietville has to offer.

A short leafy 5-min stroll to Bright's best restaurants, cafes and local shops. MTB, Trail running and wildlife abound from the front door. Avalon Mist is the perfect haven between adventures.

Explore the many walking tracks along the Ovens River, catch a movie at the little cinema just around the corner, or jump on your bike and ride one of the cycling tracks that surround the town. Green Gables is a peaceful cottage situated in lush gardens on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

Bon Accord Hideaway

Welcome to our cosy two-bedroom hideaway in the heart of Harrietville. Enjoy a comfortable living area, kitchenette/dining, modern bathroom, and a wood fired heating for a relaxing stay. The balcony is perfect for cooking on the BBQ, or savouring your morning coffee and afternoon drinks. You will love the local food and coffee, plus the nature right at your doorstep.
