It is set in its own grounds and is within walking distance of the award-winning Black Lion Inn. Accommodating up to 6 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a double sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, wood burner for cosy nights in and dining opening onto the brook-side terrace, it provides the perfect Peak Park getaway. Hawthorne Cottage is a lovely recently refurbished limestone cottage in the glorious Derbyshire Peak District just steps away from Hartington village centre and its 2 friendly pubs, a perfect place for a relaxing break or for the more energetic there’s great walks (dogs welcome!) and cycling trails on the doorstep. We have the great advantage of 2 PARKING SPACES and a lock up for cycles. The terraced gardens afford views over the village and surrounding hills beyond.

Hut in the Hills Peak District, Unique & Tranquil

A perfect tucked away escape located in the stunning Peak District. A traditional Shepherd's Hut set on the edge of a large open field with rolling views of the countryside. A very secluded spot, pure escapism! Quirky & unique perfect to unwind away from the bustle of daily life. The hut sleeps two in a double bed. All bedding and towels are provided. In order to not make the Shepherd's Hut too cramped we have a separate utilities hut just a few feet away.
