A beautiful 16th century, thatched cottage with foundations from 1350. The cottage formed the greater part of an original Guildhall. It has been lovingly maintained and furnished to a very high standard. Downstairs comprises of a cosy sitting room, separate dining room, a kitchen with breakfast bar and a downstairs utility room / toilet. Upstairs holds a double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds, and a lovely bathroom with toilet. Two village pubs are found within a 5 min walk!

Located a 30 min stroll to the Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the many restaurants/cafes of Bury St Edmunds. The house is also only a 30 min walk to the West Suffolk Hospital, so is an ideal base whether it be to explore Bury or to visit patients or work at the hospital.
