You can see the surf at Saunton and all the best North Devon beaches are handy. Fenced dog friendly garden with a sunny dining terrace, lawn and a mud room with a shower, for dogs, bikes or wet suits. Our lovely village of West Down is less than a mile away, with The Crown pub, community shop and park. Check in or out times can be flexible, please ask.

Cottage by watermill - 4 mins stroll to beach

Miller's Cottage is located next to our 16th century watermill and award winning tearoom (Hele Cornmill). Evening/morning use of teagarden and putting shed areas. Ideal for families : children can have a go at milling flour in the mill and have a go at counting the wooden mice and millstones. 5 min walk to Hele's dog friendly beach and a dog/family friendly pub serving good food. There are lots of walks from the cottage either on the South West Coastal Path or into the hills of Berrynarbor.

Warm and cosy with underfloor heating, this delightful studio is situated in a private lane just one minute’s walk from The Tarka Trail and Braunton Burrows Biosphere and a 10 min walk to centre of Braunton. Perfect for a couples getaway to this fabulous area. Rose Studio has a fully equipped kitchen which includes full sized oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. Set in a stunning coastal location, with all the comforts of home, the Sea Breeze lodge has the added benefit of being dog friendly costing £30 per dog per visit. You have your own small, private and secure garden, so you know your four legged holiday companion can be off-lead when you’re at home chilling out. The lodge sleeps 6 people, with an ensuite double bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and a comfortable double bed settee in the spacious living room, plus a second bathroom.

Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

Our charming cottage is in a fabulous location right on Ilfracombe's historic Quay. We overlook the harbour, beach and the lifeboat station; Tunnels beach and wedding venue are nearby. The rear courtyard hides a secret sunny garden complete with table and chairs perfect for alfresco dining and a secluded hot tub. The top floor bedrooms have water views either of the harbour or the Bristol Channel, and our garden room has space for wet gear, boards and bikes! Dogs are welcome.

Harbour Beach is a delightful grade II listed house situated in one of the town’s most sought after locations. Sitting adjacent to the picturesque harbour just off the working quay and close to the pier, the property enjoys wonderful views over the harbour towards Hillsborough and across to the Bristol Channel and Welsh coastline. The house is a short stroll to various shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. A little further on , you can visit Croyde and Woolacombe.

Cosy one bedroom cottage close to the coast

Jasmine cottage forms part of a courtyard of 9 holiday cottages, converted from original farm buildings. It is set in large grounds, with games room, tennis court and grassy areas to walk your dog on lead. At certain times of year there is an enclosed grass paddock to walk dogs off lead but this cannot be guaranteed, as it is occasionally used for grazing horses. The cottage is a short drive to the beautiful Woolacombe Beach and the harbour town of Ilfracombe.
