Pip's Hideaway is our gorgeous 1 bedroom pet friendly holiday cottage situated on our family-run livestock farm, in the hamlet of Selside, close to Kendal and the Lake District. It was lovingly created from an old farm building in 2012 to a high standard keeping traditional features. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. (A car is highly recommended) We are 9 miles from Bowness on Windermere , 11 miles from Ambleside and 23 miles from Keswick.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.
