Stompy's hut - simply charming

Welcome to Stompy’s Hut! A short drive away from the heritage coast will bring you to this well appointed, hand finished shepherds hut. Guests can enjoy the traditional shepherds hut experience but with the comfort of modern amenities, and with the privacy of the wildlife haven that is “Quack and Shack”. With great crested newts, barn owls, and water voles, there’s plenty to see. Put some logs on the firepit, sit back and watch the stars. Take a few days out to unwind, reflect, and breathe.

Our Cabin offers a cosy independent stay with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bedroom with super-king bed, luxury en-suite shower and utility with additional toilet. This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

We began the conversion work in 1995. The property sits in 5.5 acres of garden, surrounded by farmland. We are 5 miles north of the historic town of Framlingham & 16 miles from Suffolk's Heritage Coast. It's a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, quiet getaway.
