Self Catering Barn in Gower Village

Common Stone Barn is located in the picturesque Gower village of Llangennith. The village is located at the Western edge of the rugged Gower Peninsula. The area is famed for its stunning beaches and beautiful scenery. Common Stone Barn is ideally located in the centre of the village being situated within comfortable walking distance of the local pub and beach. Common Stone Barn was built in 2006 being based on the Old Rocket Cart House which is located on the foothills of Rhossili Bay. The barn was converted into living accommodation in 2013. If you have a larger party further accommodation can be arranged for you in our bed and breakfast. There are two double bedrooms which are accessed by a contemporary oak staircase; one of the bedrooms has a cabrio window balcony and the other with large velux windows with views across Rhossili bay towards Tenby. There is also a bed settee. There is a fully equipped kitchen which includes an electric hob and cooker, washing machine, fridge and toaster etc. There is a small breakfast bar and seating at a dining table for 4 people. Please note the price quoted is for 2 people there may be a slight addition for extra guests. Lounge area has a large corner settee, freeview TV and woodburning stove (free basket of logs provided). There is a large sun veranda and external deck area which includes a BBQ area. Off road parking for up to three vehicles.

Driftwood Cottage, Gower. A perfect beach getaway

Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

The Rhossili bay secret

Can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children not 4 adults sorry. On some occasions will let 3 adults stay (no children) there is an extra charge for this. This Cabin is right on the Gower coastal path so you can be as active or as laid back as you like. Watch the sunset & sunrise, loose yourself under the night stars as you star gaze until your hearts content. Award winning beaches just five mins drive away or if you like to walk let your feet take you there. Fantastic local pubs and restauran.

Located in a small village at end of Gower Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with wild horses, stunning beaches, many walking/hiking opportunities, plus King Arthur's stone and a castle nearby. This my family home where I grew up, when not living in Asia. Furnishings reflect those years abroad and make this house (with woodburner) quite unique, along with having a small private woods trail and one of the best views in the village of the Worm’s Head. Plum Cottage sits in idyllic tranquil gardens nestled behind the ancient church in Llangennith, Gower on the site of an early mediaeval priory, only 20 mins walk from Rhossili Bay. Plum is solid stone with beamed ceilings. At the back of historic College House, Plum is completely self-contained with its own seated patio alongside the old herb garden with views of Rhossili Downs. 2 mins walk from the village pub, The King's Head Hotel, and convenient for coastal walks.

LODGE. Spectacular views in quiet location.perfect retreat for a relaxing break. Great location for exploring stunning coastal walks. Gower is an AONB. 2 miles driving to beaches. The lodge sleeps 6, one double bed in first bedroom and bunk beds and double bed in second bedroom. Pillows and Duvets provided. Dogs welcome but must be well behaved around livestock. WI-FI available but we are rural and the connection is not always brilliant.
