Two pubs are on your doorstep and both offer a warm welcome.

Shawbroom Farm Barns are a pair of semi-detached quality barn conversions located next to the owners’ home on their working smallholding, at the end of a quiet lane in the small North Shropshire village of Soudley. Together the barns sleep four, both have private decked terraces and Rota Spa hot tubs. Close to the village of Cheswardine, a short drive takes you to Newport or Market Drayton. These lovely barns are a perfect destination for a romantic and relaxing break all year round.

Our family of 5 people plus an Airedale Terrier will give you a warm welcome and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your stay. Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

The cottage is close to everything for a work or leisure trip. This makes it easy to plan your visit. Pubs, restaurants, bars and Joules brewery open for tours, a swimming pool with gym and countryside walks are within easy reach. Market Drayton hosts a weekly street market each Wednesday. The town is located within a 20-30 minute drive of larger towns; Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Newcastle and Nantwich making it a perfect base for a short break.

It is in close proximity to the picturesque town square, wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. This is a modern, self-contained annex in a quiet rural location, with your own front door. Downstairs is spacious with a private bathroom and over bath shower, generous kitchen with basic food provisions and utensils and living space with TV. The light and airy double bedroom upstairs provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Orchard Cottage Rural Retreats is home to two luxury Glamping Pods, The Laurels and The Beeches (Dog Friendly Pod) – situated in Pell Wall just a short drive or walk from the Market town of Market Drayton. Next-door to our site we have a Secure Dog Exercise Area ‘The Dogs Paddocks’ available for private hire we also have many lovely walks on the doorstep and a traditional pub The Four Alls inn at the end of the drive.
