Cozy Cottage in Abita Springs, NOLA Northshore

The Cozy Cottage with its separate guest house is a unique historic woodland property in the town of Abita Springs near restaurants and shopping. Located on an acre and a half, the grounds are landscaped in native plants and towering pines and oaks. A primary feature of the house is its wraparound screen porch where guests can gather for meals and to listen to the birds. Built of barge board, the cottage has been renovated with modern amenities but maintains its historic character and charm.

The Oak

The Oak - Beautiful apartment in the heart of Covington one block from the Southern Hotel. Walk to over 20 restaurants and taverns. Take the two bikes provided three blocks to the start of the Tammany Trace - 40 mile paved bike trail through Abita Springs, Mandeville and Fontainebleau State Park. Living room, bedroom and bath (shower only). Mini kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishes, and glassware. Coffee maker with K cups, and set ups. Linens, towels, and essentials provided.

Harbor Landing Cottage - Close to The Lakefront

Stroll along the Mandeville Lakefront or launch your boat across the street from this cottage. Enjoy bike riding on the Tammany Trace or rent Kyaks for a day on the lake. You will find many things to do and enjoy in Mandeville. Two bikes are available for guest use and there are bike rentals near the Mandeville Trailhead. The trailhead hosts a farmers market on Saturdays, free Spring and Fall concerts and a splash pad for the kids. Mandeville is a bike and pedestrian friendly community.

Long Branch A-Frame

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Just 35 miles North of New Orleans nestled just minutes away from downtown Covington and all the Northshore has to offer. Live music, fine dining, cycling and shopping are just a few of the many things to do. Your stay includes two paddle boards so if water exploring and sun bathing on the scenic Bogue Falaya sounds up your alley then look no further. Your just a few miles drive from the new public kayak launch that leads to multiple sand bars.

Our cozy chalet sits in the woods on our 9‑acre property, overlooking a small pond and offering a peaceful escape from busy city life. As you drive past our home to the chalet, you arrive at a tucked‑away spot where the cottage and hot tub pavilion are screened by trees and bamboo, creating a private, secluded feel. This is a place to slow down, enjoy quiet mornings by the water, and end the day under the stars, while leaving feeling recharged from your stay at our little piece of paradise.

Cozy Cottage on the River

Situated on 20 acres, Little Pine Farms is a serene retreat from the city. The property boasts over 700' of frontage on the Bogue Falaya River, a sandy beach, and winding paths through the woods. You will not believe that you're only 7 minutes from the heart of downtown Covington. Built in 2023, the cabin has everything you need, nothing you don't. Sit on the front porch, overlooking the pond or hike down to the spring-fed river. S'mores in the winter or kayaking in the summer. Book now!

The Gator Getaway

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.
