Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Our Bothy is a beautifully restored one-bedroom cosy and welcoming retreat in a peaceful setting, surrounded by an acre of meadow and hills. Just over a mile from the ducal village of Thornhill’s shops, cafés and pubs. Full of original character, it is an immaculate, fully equipped and comfortable base for relaxing, walking and exploring scenic Dumfries and Galloway.

In a world of its own, Auchengruith Cottage is a haven of peace and tranquility. Traditionally decorated to a high standard, it enjoys private, enviable views over the Mennock Pass and Lowther Hills, yet is just under 3 miles to the town of Sanquhar with its amenities. With a spacious living room, seperate dining room, master bedroom with King Size double bed and second bedroom with two single beds. A shower room, and well equipped kitchen with range cooker. The ideal private getaway.

Stunning 3-Bed Rural Cottage

Prince’s Cottage is the old Shepard’s house and was originally made for the Prince Family. A 3 bedroom cottage that has been renovated and has the most amazing views. It is nestled just off the dead-end road that goes up the glen. It has its own little garden which is great for a dog to run around, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need to make a feast after a day outside and when you are done you can sit by the log burner to play games at the end of the day.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom and a sofa bed.
