Situated on family run farm of 10 acres. The Cowshed offers all the luxuries for a romantic stay in Suffolk. A spacious bathroom with shower and bath and the added luxury of heated mirror and towel rail. The bedroom has a super king size bed with luxury, professionally laundered linen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances including a coffee machine. The open plan living area has a log burner creating a warm and comfortable place to relax. In late summer and you’ll catch the harvest in full flow – but whenever you stay, the sounds of foxes, deer, owls and other birds going about their business are all that will surround you. you can relax by the fire pit (bring your own logs), or cook using the outside kitchen.

This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

Green Dragon Cottage

Green Dragon Cottage is set in a quiet backroad just North of Diss (10 minutes), sitting at the gateway to the picturesque Waveney Valley. The cottage sleeps up to five guests and is created from former stables and blacksmiths forge. The conversion retains many historic features including wooden beams and pamment tiles, yet with modern amenities including WiFi and underfloor heated bathroom. The cottage has a private entrance, parking and is ideal for families, sat in our peaceful 3.5 acres.

Old Post Office Stable sits in the heart of a conservation area on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Thorpe Abbotts is home to the 100th Bomber Group Museum. They say that the squaddies mailed their love letters back home at the Old Post Office ! 40 mins to the coast, Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Southwold,, with shopping in Norwich, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. 10 mins drive from Diss train station with a direct line to London. The Norfolk Broads only 15 mins in the lovely market town of Beccles.

Under 2 hours from London and an hour from Cambridge, we are 3.5 miles from the historic town of Eye, which has grocery stores, butcher's and a fantastic deli. Rural, yet under a mile away from two of the best food pubs in Mid-Suffolk, you will be staying in the heart of the East Anglian countryside surrounded by fields, woodland and wildlife.
