An easy walk to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park & a short drive or bus trip to The Hepworth in Wakefield. The National Mining Museum & Cannon Hall Farm are nearby, Peak District National Park, Leeds, York, Sheffield also within easy reach. Just 1 or 2 miles from M1 Junction 38 & 39. Refurbished to a high standard retaining many original features, with oak beams & open country views.

Historic York is an easy 40 mins drive and you can be in the heart of the Peak District within the hour. The hosts live in the main house on site so are available to answer any questions during your stay.

Close by the M1, offering quick and easy access to every part of Yorkshire Well behaved dogs welcome. Extensive countryside walking from your front door. EV charging available. Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.
