The Meadow Snug

Trade the sounds of the city for the sounds of life on the farm. Our tiny cabin has all you need to get away for a few days in nature to recharge those batteries. Enjoy a comfortable seat on the covered porch as you relax and enjoy that morning cup of coffee or take a wander along some of the many public footpaths right from the cabin door. In the evening you can take a short walk through the field to our fire pit area to watch the sunset from beneath the huge oak tree. Guests can pitch a tent.

Unique Hobbit House with Garden, Fire Pit & Views

Cosy Hobbit House with fire pit, private garden, and stunning countryside views at Sychpwll. This unique cob-built house has two bedrooms (king and double), a private bathroom with electric shower, and an open-plan kitchen/dining room. The house is heated by two wood burners, laid for you on arrival with a basket of logs. Extra wood can be brought from us. Outside, enjoy your garden with seating , fire pit, and relax in the peace, wildlife, and countryside. Guests also have access to the river.

This romantic tree cabin is located on the edge of a tranquil woodland at the bottom of a beautiful privately owned 5 acre garden, overlooking a hypnotic river waterfall. This majestic retreat is where you can unwind, relax and recharge, with full access to the BBQ area and on site sauna. If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sofa bed in living room and single bed via steep stairs.

Locally there is Llangollen, Poncysyllte and canal world heritage site, National Trust Erddig Hall & Bangor on Dee Race course

Luxury woodland escape for two.

Nestled serenely on the edge of woodland is this 19th century blacksmiths building. It has been sympathetically renovated and brought back to life with style at the forefront, whilst keeping every unique feature in tact. We have taken advantage of the high ceiling with an incredible mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed and installed a log burner for added comfort during the colder months. With breathtaking views over Castell Dinas Bran and the Panorama in Llangollen, the Nest is a cosy space where you can relax and unwind and soak in the spectacular panoramic vista. On the doorstep for adventure, Llangollen is packed with outdoor activity centres, walking routes, cycle tracks, cafés and restaurants and so much more. We have a fenced area for pets. The Nest is situated on the boundary of a working farm.

Hand-built treehouse (rustic!) in a beautiful, peaceful setting right on Offa's Dyke, a popular walk on the England/ Wales border. Sleeps 4 with a double bed and a comfy futon in the same room. Amazing waterfall 1/2 hour Lovely sunsets. Gas bbq and a gas hob. Solar power for phone charging etc. Basic compost toilet. Rustic shower. (no towels) Please bring your own drinking water, towels and firewood. Think of it as glorified camping....

Bryn Bach - Cosy stopover near Offa's Dyke

Our peaceful shepherd’s hut ‘Bryn Bach’ is situated right next to our home yet offering privacy, with lovely views of the Brieddan Hills. We offer a convenient location for visiting Welshpool and Shrewsbury and ideal for stopovers on longer journeys into Wales, or as a base for walkers tackling the Offa’s Dyke path which is only 300m away!
