Dogs welcome too with an enclosed garden and 8-acre private field adjacent. (NB. small pet charge) Electric car Charging point with app for usage so you’ll just pay for what you use.

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.

Stylish, light and bright annexe accommodation that sleeps up to 4. Recently refurbished with brand new fittings throughout, simba mattress and open plan living. Excellent location near to the town centre and just off Nantwich's famous welsh row, but tucked away to ensure a peaceful nights rest. Sitting in the grounds of a Georgian house, accessed via a traditional walled garden and overlooking a cobbled courtyard, this beautiful setting is perfect for relaxing in front of the fire or open the door and walk around the extensive gardens. There are loads of beautiful walks in the area.
