Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Its situated close to Hadrians Wall , Keilder Reservoir , Hareshaw Linn Waterfall and the National Park , Walkers , Cyclists Fisherman delight . Bellingham is only 2 miles away by car with a Co-op , pubs, Chinese take out to name but a few ammenities .

South facing rustic stone built barn conversion for 4 people close to Acomb village within the Dark Sky National Park. A private garden from which to enjoy stunning views and stargaze. Hadrian's Wall, Hexham market town, country walks, cycle routes and village pubs all a stones throw from the doorstep. The Michelin Star restaurant,Pines is 10 mins away. An excellent touring base, located near Hadrian’s Wall, Roman forts, Hexham Abbey, and Kielder Water and Forest Park.

This cosy property has it's own private spa. Newly built for 2024, the spa area forms the entrance to the property featuring 2 seat hot tub, rainwater shower and feature original stone wall with lantern roof window. This beautiful hideaway is completely hidden from view, overlooking rolling velvet farmland of the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty and has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with attention to design and detail.

The Rookery

After much research, I think this cottage was likely built somewhere in the 1500's. It has quirky uneven walls, VERY LOW BEAMS (TAKE CARE) upstairs made from sailing ships that travelled the world. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with small fridge, microwave, air fryer, sink, kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture as the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.
