The south-facing balcony is perfect for sitting out and there is a barbecue area in the garden. It is an ideal base to explore the Trossachs, Loch Lomond and is close to Glasgow and half an hour from Edinburgh by train. Tin Lid Cottage - cosy ground floor flat

There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!
