Down a quiet cul-de-sac backing onto the town centre (access via the back-gate) cafes, restaurants and shops are just metres away. The beautiful white-sand swimming beach is 300 metres and the main boat ramp/ferry terminal is only 700 metres - a gateway to your Coromandel adventures! Each bedroom has a queen size bed (with electric blankets) sunny open plan living and a huge front lawn - perfect for families & boat parking.

Stroll to the beach just 2 minutes away then head along the beach or beachfront path to the cafes, Lost Springs, restaurants or the coffee cart. You can rinse off under the outdoor shower and head up to Tui's Nest, a perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day of exploring Whitianga and all the amazing local attractions. Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, New Chums Beach and Opito Bay to name a few are all waiting for you to enjoy!

Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.
