Nestled in the leafy suburb of Dore, on the edge of the Peak District and Sheffield. Self contained garden studio, with open plan kitchen/living room, shower room and upstairs attic style bedroom with double bed , sloping ceiling with some restricted height,& garden view. Private garden space & alfresco dining area for own use. May not be suitable for very overweight, tall or elderly people due to height restrictions and narrow stairs. Please feel free to ask prior to booking if any concerns.

Driveway parking space. On the edge of the Peak District. 6 miles from Sheffield city centre. 9 miles from Bakewell. So much to see and do!

Located right under Curbar Edge, a well known climbing and walking area, immediately onto footpaths, and 4 miles from Chatsworth Estate. Also 4 miles to market town of Bakewell. Walking distance to local pub. Great road and mountain biking route.

Bridgefoot Cottage - Wild Swimming & Hot Tub

Bridgefoot is a beautiful 17th century cottage situated in the Peak District. Guests have full use of the property including a modern, fully equipped kitchen, perfect for entertaining. There is also an exceptionally comfy and cozy sitting room, equipped with 2 sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed) a log burner and a Smart TV. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious four poster bed and an ensuite bathroom. Next door is a spacious second bedroom with two comfortable single beds.

We are situated about 50m from the main road and bus stops for regular direct buses to Sheffield/Chesterfield . Dronfield has a train station providing an hourly service direct to London. 1 mile from the Derbyshire countryside, 10miles - Chatsworth House, 12 miles - Bakewell.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.

The accommodation is situated in a secluded spot overlooking the River Derwent. A Stone built, single storey building with a contemporary interior finish. Furnished to a high standard with a warm and welcoming biomass boiler which heats the water and underfloor heating. Overlooking grassland with its own enclosed garden and seating area. Parking available to the front door.
