Braeside is a spacious property. All the rooms are large and light. Plenty of space for getting together and relaxing. Most of the rooms have lovely views of the Lakeland fells. The sheltered enclosed garden at the front of the property is perfect for dining al fresco in the summer. Being located in the heart of traditional Portinscale means Braeside is an ideal location for exploring the area. Portinscale offers a choice of places to eat and drink. Morven Cottage is a two bedroom holiday cottage within 5 minutes walk of Keswick town centre with private parking and an outdoor patio area. The warm and comfortable accommodation sleeps up to four guests (plus a cot) and was recently extensively refurbished. Changeover days are typically Monday and Friday. One or two well-behaved dogs (restricted to downstairs and not allowed on the furniture) are welcome. Smoking is not permitted in the cottage. 10% discount for full week bookings.

The warm and welcoming living room has two comfortable sofas, smart TV, and a lovely log burning stove perfect for cosy Winter evenings. The double doors open up into the dining area with standard seating for 6 people, though this can be extended if you are a group of 7. Off the dining room is the conservatory, with a selection of games and books for guests to enjoy, while overlooking the beautiful private garden. It is the perfect place to spend a peaceful afternoon with a good book.

Its just a short drive to Keswick and its vibrant town centre where you will find plenty of things to do. Take a stroll across the road to the village of Braithwaite, home to charming pubs, a local shop and a cafe. And with hundreds of walks from the hut you can do as much or as little as you wish.
