Amid the salty air and birdsong, our bed looks to the trees and a deep bath with unlimited hot water. Humble living in luxury, the wood stove keeps things cozy and Belgian cushions are perfect for sprawling out in the evenings. Located in sleepy Lufra Cove, a magical corner of Eaglehawk Neck. Set amongst native gum and banksia the cabin overlooks the clear waters of little Norfolk Bay. Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. Centrally located within the Tasman Peninsula it's a short drive to everything on offer. We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

All that is left to do is light the fire, open a bottle of your favourite Tasmanian wine, sit back and relax after a day exploring this hidden gem on the Tasman Peninsula.

Carlton River Escape

Carlton River Escape was completed in 2023 and built as a peaceful hide away retreat on the back 50 acres of our property. It is nestled right beside our Swift Parrot Conservation Forest area which also shares it space with our local wallabies, wombats, echidnas, pademelons, possums, and eagles. Amid the fresh Tassie air, and the incredible forest views, you will feel completely relaxed listening to the sounds of the wildlife while enjoying the luxury of a secluded brand new home.

Wildwood Retreat

Wildwood Retreat is a beautifully appointed one bed double storey apartment in a stunning secluded rural setting enjoying spectacular water views. Situated in its own private kingdom of 100 acres overlooking Norfolk and Cascade Bays with mountain backdrop in the distance - a perfect picture box scene where the light and mood changes constantly. Guests can relax and unwind in the retreat's stunning outdoor hot tub, or float amongst the tree tops as the weather rolls in.

Experience the magic of a tiny cabin set amongst a grove of gum trees beside a creek around the bend from an isolated beach in a little-known corner of Tasmania. Everything is tiny, but guests tell us it has everything you need... including luxurious touches like European linen. Arrow Brick House is a beautiful, dog friendly, country property with gorgeous water and mountain views, minutes from Port Arthur Historic site, 3 Capes Walk and Remarkable cave. Breathe in the clean, fresh air as you enjoy views over misty mountains, sparkling water and Tasman Island Lighthouse. Relax on a private and secluded getaway, perfect for those who love romantic, wild places. We recommend a few days to really enjoy the property and explore the local area.

Relaxing dog-friendly rural retreat

Prospect@Premaydena is situated on a quiet rural road, surrounded by farmland and bush. It is 5 minutes drive from the nearest little township, Nubeena, and provides a perfect base for exploring all that the Tasman Peninsula has to offer. The house yard is well-fenced and secure and well-behaved dogs are welcome, but not any other pets. (Note: there is further information below regarding bringing your dog(s). Please read it before making your booking.)
