Tubara is in the Higashiyama in Kyoto. You can go to so many sights (Kiyomizu temple, Kenninji temple, Yasaka shrine, Fushimiinaritaisha, Gion area, Kamo river, downtown..) on foot! Tsubara was 100y old Machiya, we lovely restored all possible to original style using antique fittings & materials by traditional craftsmanship. We love Tsubara, we hope the guests too! Kyoto Machiya Gion "Kunitsukami" araka-tanaka

You are cordially invited to embark on a genuine Kyoto living experience at "Kunitsukami" araka-tanaka (the Gion House ). "Kunitsukami" araka-tanaka is a traditional Japanese 'machiya' is centrally-located in Gion. It was designated in Gion historic district building by Kyoto City Gov. The house was built in 1892, and was completely restored under the supervision of Kyoto City Gov, and it was stand up for historical Gion principle. It is rented an entire house, and private!

Shirakawa Seiryu-an, located on the east side of the Shirakawa River, is near Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera, and Heian Shrine, making it ideal for tourists. An 8-minute walk from Higashiyama Subway Station, Sanjo Keihan Station, and a bus stop, with 24-hour convenience stores and laundromats nearby. Shirakawa Seiryu-an is a century-old Kyoto townhouse in a car-free area, offering a peaceful stay. Free Wi-Fi is available, and strollers or baby seats can be requested.

My house is located close to the public transportation hub train station JR Nijo, subway and sight spot Nijo castle. It is suitable for young couples, families with children and older people to stay here for tourism. It is easy to take a bus from JR train Kyoto station for 20 minutes to get here. It takes around 10 minutes to Nijo castle by walking. The sight spots Arashiyama and the temple Kinkakuji are also close to the house. It is located in central city Kyoto.
