Whether you're relaxing in the beautiful king sized bed cubby, lounging 8' above the forest floor surrounded by pillows and blankets on a massive 6' x 12' netted hammock deck, or taking a bath or rain shower on the semi-enclosed tub deck, this romantic treehouse is where luxury and comfort meet fun and fantasy.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Created to share the uniqueness of East Texas with others, Piney Point is a perfect couple or friend's retreat. Tucked in the corner of a six-acre homestead, this restored A-frame offers a modern cozy stay with an expansive deck that overlooks the spring-fed pond. Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads.
