Mongolian Yurt with Spa on edge of Galloway Forest

Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction & the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

The Beach Cottage, Troon

Beautiful Self Contained Cottage situated in the heart of Troon (5 minutes walk from Beach, Train Station, Town Centre and under 15 minutes walk from Royal Troon and Municiple Golf Courses). The property comprises of an open plan living/dining area and sleeping area for upto 4 persons (double bed and sleeper sofa-bed), Kitchen with all amenities (excluding washing machine), Toilet/Shower room, wardrobe/storage area and large patio garden area within walled garden. No pets due to allergeries

Secluded Luxury Meadow Yurt sleeps 4, nr Ayr coast

'Meadow' is in its own private garden overlooking our wildflower meadow. Great for couples / young families with a double bed and sofa bed within the yurt. It boasts a cozy woodburner and its wonderful open roof to watch sky. The private bathroom, compost loo, kitchen & patio provide home comforts. Max 2 small dogs. This is a farm: dogs to be kept on leads at all times outside. Our chickens & goats wander around the farm. Extras for your stay are available to purchase through the website.

Whether you're looking for a one night business stopover, a couple of nights to attend a wedding at the Brig O'Doon, or a self catering holiday break, Doonbank Cottage's Bothy offers an exclusive, flexible & private accommodation. The Bothy is a beautifully presented & spacious, one bed detached house. Set in 4 acres of woodland on the banks of the River Doon & forming part of Doonbank Cottage's woodland garden, it is a very peaceful and quiet location. One (medium sized) dog allowed.

Wee Beach Hut Maidens Maybole

Stop! Listen! All you can hear are birds, the waves and the occasional tractor. Get away from it all when you stay in the Wee Beach Hut a custom build shepherds hut with its own enclosed area surrounded by farmland .The beach is a 5 minute walk. Perfect for kayaking,paddle boarding or just plain old swimming. Go wild in the water or sit and sip a sundowner on the decking. Surrounded by fields there can on occasion be farm smells and sounds of tractors sowing,spreading or harvesting.

The Signal Box is a cosy retreat to switch off in nature. On the edge of Galloway Forest Park and within the UNESCO Biosphere, it’s surrounded by wildlife. Culzean Castle and Country Park is a 40-min drive. Nearby, wild swimming is available at Girvan Beach, Galloway Forest Park, and the Water of Minnoch in Glen Trool. Galloway Forest highlights include scenic trails, Bruce’s Stone, and the Red Deer Range. On the edge of the Dark Sky Park, it’s perfect for stargazing.

Kyle Lodge is our new one bed lodge set in the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church (which sleeps 12). It is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a roll top bath with views of open countryside. The secluded and sheltered covered decking area with woodburner allows you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.

Want a family/friends get together whilst retaining your own space? We have 4 cottages collocated with a 12 acre garden and fishing on the river Bladnoch. Great for family get togethers. 3 smaller one bed cottages can accommodate upto 4 each utilising sofa beds whilst the larger 3 bedroom cottage can accommodate upto 7. In total you can comfortably accommodate upto 18 guests split between the cottages.
