The Bach At Crayfish

Relax, long walks, swim and enjoy. Private, great views of beach. Only 12 minutes from Stanley, 20 mins from Smithton, which has a large supermarket. 25 minutes from Wynyard. Rockycape Taven, great meals only just 5 minutes away. Plus 2 petrol stations that do take away and groceries. Explore this lovely area, with heaps to see and do. Or just kick back and relax. Situated right by the main highway in Crayfish Creek. Being right next to highway there is some traffic noise. Checkout 10.30 am.

The Stone House

The Stone House is set in 24 acres of natural Tasmanian bush in the Arthur Pieman Reserve. This is in the pristine Tarkine Wilderness area. The Stone House is made of stone, beautiful timber and earth rammed walls. We have made a rough track around our block, please explore. The grasslands are home to Bennetts Wallabies, pademelons, tassie devils, wombats, quolls and possums as well as the magnificent wedge tailed and sea Eagles. The coast is wild and untamed and ready to be explored.

Hellyer Beach Bungalow- Absolute Beachfront

North facing sunny, warm and welcoming, cosy for couples, big enough for a family with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fully self catering or you can access the local Tavern for excellent meals. There is a small garden providing herbs and usually some seasonal vegetables for you to use. Absolute beach frontage for your enjoyment- fishing, walking or swimming. View magical sunsets and sunrises in this unique part of the world. A great base to explore the iconic North West environment.

Ann Bay Cabins

Adorable cosy well equipped cabins. Both have amazing ensuites; spa or rain shower, small kitchenettes with a bar fridge, microwave, pots & electric frypan. Great selection of teas, coffee, & sugar, with a treat always left in the fridge. Our balcony is lovely spot to sit & watch the Eagles from or a sunrise/set. At night you can hear the Ringtail Possums, with their dear wee squeaks, while admiring some of the best night skies you’ll ever see. Aroura spotting can be done nearby.

Arthur River Spa Cottage

This amazing waterfront beach house has recently been refurbished to offer you modern comfort amongst the wild Arthur River landscape, and can sleep 10 people in 7 beds! The open plan kitchen / dining / lounge has wonderful large windows that make the most of the sea view, toasty open fireplace and a comfy leather lounge and satellite TV. Just outside is a glass sheltered North ( river facing ) outdoor entertainment deck with its own open potbelly fireplace, sound system and BBQ.

Our family live on the property but you'll enjoy complete privacy. It's a great space for an overnight stopover or short term stay. Also ideal for anyone coming to the area for work purposes. Located on the South Arthur River Touring Route just 10 mins from the Arthur River and 5 mins from the start of the Tarkine forest. A private cottage with abundant grounds and resident wildlife this is Tarkinegrove . Bird enthusiasts, photographers and artists will love Tarkinegrove. See the Platypus at dusk during season. Dozens of birds, Spotted Tail Quoll, Pademelons, & Eastern Barred Bandicoot do visit, again depending on the depending on the season.

Country Retreat

This fully self contained accommodation is in the historic village of Yolla. Only 15 minutes from the Burnie airport and on the way to the west coast wilderness, this rustic country style facility is in the grounds of a grand old home. It is a real country experience hosted by a local farmer. Yolla has beautiful countryside, and a proper country tavern for a meal. country retreat is fitted with carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.
