Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

We offer attractive self catering accommodation in a quiet picturesque rural Cumbrian village in the Lyvennet Valley at the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Our Timber Tent is situated within the grounds of our small family run farm and caravan site. We are easily accessible from the A66 by car. Great for a stop over when cycling, walking, travelling to the highlands or for a simple weekend away. With two single beds a power point, heating, mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities it really is the best way to go camping. You will need everything you take camping except your bedding & tent.
