Troutbeck Camping Pods - "No 1"

Our three warm and cosy pods are situated behind the main farm steading in a quiet setting away from the road and next to a small beck. The pods all have underfloor heating so you are guaranteed to be warm no matter the season. With excellent access from junction 36 of the M6, we are situated at the top of the beautiful Troutbeck Valley, with views down towards Windermere Lake. Our village has two pubs, a tearoom, and easy access to Windermere and Ambleside. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets

This converted former stable is situated within the steading at High Wray farm. The cottage has two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a lounge dining area and kitchen, equipped to a high standard, with stripped pine floors and exposed beams. This cottage also has the benefit of being fully accessible for disabled visitors, with many extras ensuring wheelchair users or anyone with limited mobility an enjoyable stay. Stable Cottage boasts spectacular uninterrupted views across the valley.

Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.

Townfoot Byre, Troutbeck is a beautiful bedroom suite in our 330 year old traditional Lakeland farmhouse. The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Spa, sauna, swimming pool and gym access at a local club is included, free with your stay. A 7Kw EV charger is available, if you're travelling in an electric vehicle.

Perfectly positioned with spectacular views of the Troutbeck Valley, near Windermere, this character cottage sleeps 4 in comfort along with your dog. There are walks in abundance from the doorstep, and only a short drive from both Ambleside and Windermere. One well-trained dog is welcome for an additional fee. Dogs visiting the property should be kept off all furniture and never left unattended. We also kindly ask that you make sure that you pick up after you dog also, thank you.
