Recent review July 2025 As a host myself, I had high expectations and the place surpassed them. The suite has an awesome kitchenette with cooktop and a table where you can eat/work, a pristine and stylish bathroom, and a comfy bed with warm sheets. I was traveling alone for business but with the beach just steps away I immediately told my wife I would have to return soon with her for a pleasurable vacation stay. I can't wait to make it back here. 5 Stars all around.

The Grand Suite at Old Colorado Inn

The Grand Suite at Ernest Lyons House is a 1,040-square-foot ground floor 2 BR/1 Bathroom Suite located in the heart of Downtown Stuart on spacious shared grounds (1/2 acre) surrounding a large shared swimming pool with "Golden Mean" dimensions (44 x 27 foot lap pool) and spa. This charming suite is located steps from the scenic Riverwalk on the St. Lucie River and a wide variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment in Historic Downtown Stuart.

Bonsai ~ A Modern Motor Court

Cute & locally-owned 10 room motor court. It has been freshly remodeled, updated to current times, and is very clean! Located just a short walk from the National Scenic Byway, Indian River lagoon. One can take scenic walks and/or bike rides along the beautiful Indian River. 10-minute drive to the Historic Cocoa Village (more details below) It is also approximately 30-minute drive to the world-famous/popular Cocoa Beach or 1 hr. to Orlando.

The Historic Driftwood Resort is a one-of-a-kind property located oceanside in Vero Beach, Florida. Our property offers a restaurant and lounge open daily for lunch and dinner, 2 pools, beach access, gas grills, and picnic areas. We are centrally located on Vero's beachside surrounded by many wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. Two of our buildings are on the National Registry of Historic Places.
