Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.

A terraced cottage in the centre of Bowness village, which has recently undergone a transformation where original slate floors have been exposed, open fire places restored and wood panelled cottage style doors displayed throughout . The owners are not new to holiday letting and whilst they have enjoyed spending time at their Lake District cottage and created a beautiful cosy cottage.
