Cabin on the River

Get back to nature in our one room cabin with lots of comfort. Located next to the famous Regency Bridge the States last functioning swinging bridge. There is a small private RV park nearby that rents out an small camper which would allow you to have more guests come and stay next door. The river is on the property with steps down to the water perfect for kayaking or fishing. When the water level is down hiking the river bed is a great time. We do have 2 paddle boards available to rent as well.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of our northern Hill Country family ranch. You’ll be staying in a small home at our ranch headquarters across the drive from our home . The house has a huge porch perfect for relaxing outside and enjoying the quiet, wildlife, and beautiful skies. We keep it dark (Bortle Scale Class 2) so the stargazing opportunities are excellent as are the bird and butterfly watching. We are 15 miles from San Saba and 20 miles from Richland Springs.

Lometa is a short 5-minute drive for restaurants, gas, and groceries. Our outside space sets us apart! Relax under the oak trees to read or take in the 180-degree views of the countryside from our hilltop. Watch livestock mill about on the horizon as you lounge the day away lazily under the trees.
