Lakeside Cabin on Lake O' the Pines

If you are seeking a quiet place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset on the water, look no further than this new lakeside cabin on Lake O' the Pines. The cabin is so secluded you can go all day without seeing another car drive by. There is a boat ramp around the corner. Plenty of activities on the property including a paddle boat, horseshoes and fishing. No Wi-Fi but good cell phone service/hotspot. There are restaurants close to cabin and only 20 miles from the historical town of Jefferson.

Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, open concept living/dining areas, small kitchen, and a front patio. Every cabin comes with a canoe, paddles, life jackets, and access to our group firepit and private kayak ramp.

Private country atmosphere in city located on 7 acres. Lots of large pine and oak trees, birds, and catch and release from onsite pond. Plenty of room for horse or boat trailers to park. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants and stores if your not in mood to cook. Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
