It has been tastefully renovated and built to take in the ambiance of surrounding gardens and natural bush. Each morning of your stay you can begin the day by enjoying a leisurely breakfast on one of the 3 decks, using the quality provisions left for you in the fridge. Later you can relax in the outdoor bath on the back deck and maybe see kangaroos or king parrots.

Easily accessible via major motorways, you will also find shops, public transport, schools & hospitals nearby. Please note that our studio is only suitable for adults.

Heathmont one-bedroom cottage

This lovely one-bedroom cottage is the perfect sanctuary for a tranquil getaway or a convenient location for a long weekend away. Just a five minute walk to Heathmont train station, it is highly accesible to Flinders Street Station and other parts of Melbourne. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Yarra Valley, Mount Dandenong and a short drive to Warrandyte. There is also the Dandenong Creek trail and Ringwood Lake Park for the nature lovers.

Dingleigh of Sassafras - Reader's Cottage

A forest hideaway in the Dandenong Ranges. Nestled between ferns and maples, Dingleigh of Sassafras is one of the original cottages on the property, lovingly restored and updated. Walking proximity to Sassafras, local shops, famous gardens & the national park. Dingleigh and its gardens offer an ideal location for wedding preparations and small wedding ceremonies. This is a one-storey house with a big deck attached outside, which belongs to Tanglewood, a private property. Tanglewood is 20 kms east of Melbourne CBD, opening to Terrara Rd. It’s a perfect ideal place for people who need a real quality break or relaxation for the body & mind from pressures or hard work.

Warrandyte Treetop Retreat.

Our cottage set in natural bush has the benefit of shops and public transport a 10-15 minute walk away. Enjoy a drink on the deck in the warm light of the evening, take a leisurely walk along the Yarra River to see the kangaroos in their natural setting or an easy drive to the famous Yarra Valley wineries.
