The Switzerland Cafe is my favorite local restaurant for lunch, open 11-4. Everything on the menu is delicious! The smoked trout BLT is always a favorite along with the tomato basil soup…oh and don’t even get me started on their quiche or desserts.

This is just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Little Switzerland. They make a hell of a sandwich! They also have supplies for a picnic(wine, cheese and other stuff too) if you want to take your stuff and enjoy it on your own. They of course have some souvenirs and trinkets if that's your thing too. It's a cute place with some very attentive wait staff and it's not too far off the Parkway. It can get very busy though.
