This is one of the cleanest lakes of Berlin and surrounded by the woods (Grunewald). It's the perfect refreshment for hot days and even hosts a small lifeguard station. Please be aware that part of visitors will be nude as this is part of German culture. Make sure to stop at the "Ökowerk" on the way too to get some coffee & cake. It's an Ecological and natural reserve centre and historically the first water station in Berlin. It also features exhibitions, a small museum, eco gardens and an insects hotel.

Good for a swim on a hot day....people may be skinny dipping! :) You can combine it with a walk in the forrest, if you like.
