Leon's Beach house sits on Silver beach, a secluded gentle aspect of Botany Bay, great for swimming and for kids. It is popular with kite surfers when the wind picks up in the afternoons. Kurnell Catamaran club regularly meets and sails on the weekends on Silver Beach. There is some of the best snorkelling and diving in Sydney, esp close to Kamay National Park Bonna Point has an off leash area for dogs (although note that dogs are not allowed on the property Leon's Beach house). There are picnic spots, wash facilities and access to mangroves, which are especially interesting to explore in low tide. Towra point nature reserve is only accessible by boat from Bonna Point boat ramp. These are protected wetlands, great for canoeing and kayaking. It is rich in mudflats, seagrass and bird watching. Please take note that there is to be no fishing or collection of shells from Kamay Botany Bay National Park, or Towra Point reserve.
