All along our coastline, you’ll find reputable fishing charters that can hook you up with just about any kind of trip you’re looking for. Best of all, St. Pete/Clearwater is its own peninsula, with the Gulf of Mexico on the western shore and Tampa Bay to the east. That means there’s fish to be had just about anywhere, anytime, though spring and fall and the busiest times of the year. Good place to try your hand at fishing next to the Skyway bridge. You can rent fishing gear and buy bait there. A friend, who can fish alot better than I, caught some nice size Grouper for the grill.
