This is a steep, pedestrian, stairway street lined on both sides with several bars/cafes/restaurants. Which is the best one? You choose for yourself, I end up wherever I can get a seat and I haven't a favourite. Several places have live bands playing inside, some have roof terraces with sea views, all serve food, beer, tea coffee but nothing especially good but not certainly not bad. You come here to have a quiet coffee and maybe a smoke a Nargile/Hooka pipe/Shisha during the day and to chat and drink with friends at night. Quirky, unusual and fun..sometimes packed late at night on the weekend.

Beyoğlu Galatasaray Street behind the French Street, also known as Algeria Street. The French Street, which was previously a dead end, was restored and the historical buildings were painted in color and the paving stones were renewed. Located in the cultural, art and entertainment areas of Istanbul, French Street also has many restaurants and art galleries. While you are touring with your friends in Beyoğlu, you can relax on French Street and listen to live music and taste new tastes. As soon as you enter the atmosphere of the street you will not get how time passes.
