Called by locals "Kongresc", it used to be a sad parking lot with a small park. Now the square is a great open space with a side of tall trees and plenty of benches, providing shade in warm summer days. It is a popular place for different city events, gatherings and concerts. It’s also the home of the Slovenian Philharmonic building and University of Ljubljana building.

A nice city square with a lot of greenery (grass and trees) and nice benches you can sit on and enjoy the view of the beautiful scenery with the old town houses and the city castle. A popular place to hang out in the evenings. It is known for frequent open-air event (from music events to ceremonies etc.)
