2.3 miles to the top where you can see a beautiful view of the Hudson Valley region. The hike is almost 5 miles in totality (up and back) and on a gravel road.

Well defined and well traveled trail to the top of Overlook Mountain. See the ruins of an old hotel once you reach the top, and then a short hike more and you will be at the old firetower. Great views! Buddhist monastery right across the parking lot that accepts visitors.
