Located on South Beach Road Torakina Beach is an idyllic curve of beach sheltered by the two break walls at the mouth of the Brunswick River. A perfect spot for children to swim and play in the sand, Torakina is much loved by parents. Behind the beach you will find Torakina Parklands, a large grassy expanse dotted with picnic tables.

Best beach for really young kids, loads of other kids, no waves parents paradise (unless you have a baby sitter :) ) But water can be colder river water depending on the tides.

Stunning family friendly beach. Also Christmas Beach which is across the river is even more beautiful and quieter. I can't add it on here for some reason.
