These grits grown on the island are some of the most sought after in the most highly acclaimed restaurants in the world. Great people and fun little store to stop and shop.

This has been renamed Marsh Hen Mill. This mill has the best grits and grains. The mill specializes in local. They have a great variety including ancient and specialty varieties. I highly recommend a stop here. Don't miss it it is right after you cross onto the island.

Marsh Hen Mill has locally and regionally sourced grits, cornmeal, rice, peas, snacks, mixers, ice cream and gelato, breakfast meats, Sprongbok Coffee, Rio Bertolini's Fresh Pasta Co. Raviolis, Take n Bakes, pizza dough, sauces. produce, pies, etc.

A must see! Stop in for locally produced pottery, grits, rice, honey, and more. They have lovely donuts and coffee as well. Hours vary, summer hours are Thur-Mon 10-6.
