Walk within Famagusta's (intentionally) dry moat and wonder at the heights of the walls built centuries ago. Recently revived and furnished, the moat path connects to the main road near both the New Gate (north) and Sea Gate (south). On foot, one can also descend the stairs from near the Ravelin Gate and bridge. Benches, flower beds, a walking path, and great pines are distributed along the route.
