Easily one of the best Japanese in Edinburgh (and we're kind of food snobs). An unassuming looking place, cash only and tiny. Book if you can. Oh, and did we mention it's BYOB?!

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Edinburgh and it is just across the street. The ambience is a bit 'school dining hall' but the food is superb. Unlicenced so bring your own bottle or two and pay corkage. And in authentic Japanese style it is cash only, so visit an A.T.M. first, if you can remember what cash is!

This delightful Sushi joint is almost always packed with hungry locals and Edinburgh's vibrant emigré community! Monday to Thursday the Bento dinner boxes are available, and offer great value!
