Not posh. But by far the best japanese food in Brighton. There is no other Japanese worth bothering with. (Moshi Moshi is a fun place but the food is average)

My favourite restaurant. In Sydney St, in the Laines, above Yum Yums,the Chinese supermarket. Understated but of great quality and highly popular.

Really great canteen style place above the Oriental supermarket. Sit by the window and watch the world go by over a big bowl of noodle soup.
