More of a place to stop on your way back from Richmond Park for a swifty (a 'quick' beer). A short walk from Richmond Gate, sit on the benches overlooking the valley down from Richmond Hill. Continue down from there to the toe path and to your right for Richmond water front.

Really old pub with a lot of history. Great location. Lovely view from the terrace in front of the pub to the river.
